Hi.

My name is Lewis Hayes, but I prefer Loo.

Freshman year started with a phone ban. Not just in class. Not just during tests. All day.

Inside my head, there’s a lot going on. Not in a crazy way. Just… busy. Like six to seventy tabs open at once. Music is playing somewhere. A notification I can’t find. A to-do list that might be upside down.

There’s the part of me that wants to try.
The part that wants to nap.
The part that makes plans.
The part that loses them.

They all talk and collaborate. Lately, I’ve been learning how to let them talk without letting them drive my life (or me crazy).

This year is about figuring out how to reset without quitting. How to try without spiraling.
How to have a day that’s not perfect… but still mostly good.
