Hi.
If you’re reading this, that means someone decided I needed a website.
I’m not sure who approved that. Probably Mom.
My name is Lewis Hayes. Loo, if you’re not trying to get me in trouble.
Freshman year started with a phone ban. Not just in class. Not just during tests. All day. Which, if you’re wondering, feels like being dropped into the wilderness without a map, a flashlight, or group chat.
Apparently, that’s when things got “interesting.”
Inside my head, there’s a lot going on. Not in a dramatic way. Just… busy. Like six tabs open. Music is playing somewhere. A notification I can’t find. A to-do list that might be upside down.
There’s the part of me that wants to try.
The part that wants to bail.
The part that makes plans.
The part that loses them.
They all talk.
Lately, I’ve been learning how to let them talk without letting them drive.
Some days I get it right.
Some days I absolutely do not.
That’s kind of the point.
This year is about figuring out how to reset without quitting.
How to try without spiraling.
How to have a day that’s not perfect… but still mostly good.
If you want to see what that looks like, you’re in the right place.
Just don’t tell my Brain Crew I said that.
They’ll want editing rights.
