The Mostly Epic Origin Story

Founded in 2025 by educator, author, publisher, and parent A.L. Marshall, Mostly Epic Press is an independent publishing imprint dedicated to thoughtful, design-forward literature rooted in social-emotional learning, accessibility, and reader engagement. Drawing on experience in education, communication, and neurodiversity-informed practices, our work bridges story, interaction, and therapeutic insight to support the whole human experience.

Our Founder

A.L. Marshall is an educator, author, publisher, and founder of Mostly Epic Press. Her work is shaped by experience in education, communication, accessibility, and neurodiversity-informed practices. She creates books and resources designed to engage readers while supporting self-awareness, agency, and meaningful growth.

In addition to publishing interactive fiction, therapeutic children's literature, and activity books, she provides publishing guidance and accessibility-focused support for independent authors.
